Recreational Basketball

Mid State Recreational Basketball League – games are generally played at Liberty Union Elementary, BC High School or FU (Pleasantville or Bremen middle school).  3/4th grade games are played with a smaller ball (27.5 inch) and rims are lowered to 9ft.  Games are generally played on Saturdays, but there may be some Sunday games.

Practices:  1-2 practices will be held on weeknights and will be scheduled based on your coach and facility availability.

Registration Fee:  $75

Travel Basketball
Upon completion of evaluations, the evaluators will select 8-10 players for each age level travel team – there may not be a travel team at each grade level.  The coach will speak directly to the parent(s) to determine if the family (both parents and athlete) will be committed to playing Travel basketball.  If the child/family chooses not to participate on the travel team, they will be placed on a Recreational Basketball team for that grade level.

Please note, this is a community based program and has no affiliation with AAU or AAU style programs.   Coaches are NOT paid and volunteer their time.
